Living and Losing Weight with Irritable Bowel Syndrome: Vacation Time!

Living and Losing Weight with Irritable Bowel Syndrome: Vacation Time!

My name is Charm and I was diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome November of 2010. This week has been going well for me. I’m proud to say I’m eating much healthier. I’ve added more lean protein to my diet. I’m noticing I have a bit more energy throughout the day. I’m eating more fruits and vegetables as well.

I’m looking forward to some much needed time off. I have all of next week off of work. My boyfriend is coming for a visit for the first from February 18th to February 21st. I haven’t planned anything for the remainder of the time off besides relaxing and enjoying the time away.

I am planning to follow my food routine while off. I am still going to eat properly and make smart food choices. I feel excited and encouraged. It’s going to be a great time for me.

Charm

I've been on my weight loss journey since 2007. I was facing several medical conditions and seeing several specialists. The doctors told me to lose weight or face some very serious consequences. I decided to start losing weight. I've had many ups and downs on this journey. I've had two surgeries and several outpatient surgical procedures. I'm no weight loss expert but an average person. I've done lots of research and experimenting and found what works for me.
